4th Grade Multiplication Turkey Craftivity

This turkey craftivity gives students a fun and engaging way to practice multiplication while creating a colorful fall display for your classroom. Three turkey pages cover different multiplication topics, so you can use one page for a quick review or all three to build an eye-catching bulletin board. A bonus bulletin board title, “A Gaggle of Math Turkeys,” is included on pages 10-11.

Standards covered:
– 4.NBT.B.5: Multiply a whole number of up to four digits by a one-digit whole number, and multiply two two-digit numbers

What is included:
– Turkey 1: Multiplication by 1 digit (color by answer range)
– Turkey 2: Multiplication by 2 digits (color by answer range)
– Turkey 3: Challenge multiplication (match equivalent products and color with your choice of colors)
– Answer keys for all three turkeys
– Bulletin board title pages

Directions:
– Students solve the multiplication problems on each turkey’s feathers
– They color each section based on the answer range shown in the color code table
– For the challenge turkey, students find matching products and color those feathers the same color
– Students cut out the turkeys when finished

Display options:
– Lay the turkeys flat on a bulletin board for a quick and easy display
– Fold and glue three turkeys together for a 3D look that pops off the board or hangs from the ceiling
